HELPING GRIEVING HEARTS HEAL
Our relationship to our loved ones continues on in our lives even after death takes away their physical presence. Honoring and working with this connection is the approach I use to help you move through grief. When we mourn the death of someone close to us, we are not broken or dysfunctional; we are experiencing the difficult yet natural healing process of grief.
Every person grieves differently. I help my clients find the path that works best for them, whether they are processing grief from the death of a loved one or the end of a relationship or pregnancy. I also counsel those who have had difficulties working through grief over a loss from years or even decades prior. For more information, read my blog on Unattended Grief.
I trained as a grief support specialist at Our House in WLA in 2008 and have co-led grief support groups at that facility since that time. I am also a volunteer grief specialist at Camp Erin, a grief support camp for children, sponsored by Our House.
