Larry believes that our early memories, or rather, those few moments which somehow strike us as worthy of remembering are very significant in our lives. He will lead a ShadowMap workshop which employs a mix of visualization, meditation, drawing and dialogue to reveal underlying feelings, conflicts and meanings of these memories.

PENCIL & STRING WORKSHOP
The Pencil and String is a workshop that combines the healing power of art and sound to help participants express a variety of underlying feelings, including grief and loss. No art or music background is needed; in fact, some of the drawing is done with eyes closed. Larry is a psychotherapist in West Los Angeles who specializes in grief and loss and employs art therapy in his practice. Andrea is a world class harpist who has helped stroke victims begin to reconnect brain pathways and/or develop new ones through harp playing.
